This article explains the main currencies and resources in Gummy Drop and how they are used.
Coins
Coins are the main currency used in the game.
You can earn coins by:
- Completing levels
- Completing Helping Hand cards
- Purchasing them from the Store
Coins are used to buy:
- Resources
- Boosters
- Special offers
Blue Hats
Blue Hats are used for building Knowledge Buildings (KB) and making progress in your city.
You can get Blue Hats:
- Starting at Level 21 (collect 10,000 Blue Hats by finding 6 Baby Wombats between Levels 21-30)
- From challenges as you progress
- From Level 41 and higher (inside levels - match them to collect)
You can use Blue Hats:
- To build Knowledge Buildings
- Or trade them for coins at the Shop's Trade Center
Orange Bricks
Orange Bricks are used for building Knowledge Buildings (KB) in cities.
How to collect:
- Match them during gameplay
- If you win the level, matched bricks go into your city's Resource Wallet
Why you need them:
- Use them to build Knowledge Buildings and keep your city progressing
Extra tip:
- You can swap Orange Bricks for coins at the Shop's Trade Center
Pink Gems
Pink Gems are used for building Knowledge Buildings (KBs) in your city.
How to get Pink Gems:
- From Level 81 in Sydney, Pink Gems drop in levels
- Match them and win the level to collect them
Bonus:
- Collect 10 Surfboards between Levels 91-100 to receive 150,000 Pink Gems
How to use them:
- Build Knowledge Buildings
- Or trade them for coins at the Shop's Trade Center
Green Gems
Green Gems are a special resource used to build Monuments.
Key difference:
- Green Gems carry over between Cities
How to get Green Gems:
- By completing certain Helping Hand levels for Locals
- By using the Green Gem Drill
Trade Center
You can exchange resources for coins in the Trade CenterTrade Center.
- Trade excess resources for coins
- Use coins to get specific resources
