In Gummy Drop!, levels can have different rules and difficulty variations.
Understanding level types and difficulty tiers will help you plan your moves and progress more efficiently.
Standard Levels
Most levels in Gummy Drop! are standard match-3 levels.
In these levels:
- You have a limited number of moves
- Each match uses one move
- You must complete all level goals before running out of moves
Standard levels form the core progression of the game.
Timed Levels
Some levels include a time limit instead of a fixed number of moves.
In timed levels:
- You must complete all goals before time runs out
- Matching gummies adds time bonuses
- Faster play increases your chances of success
Bomb Levels
Bomb levels include special bombs that count down with each move.
In bomb levels:
- Bombs display a countdown number
- Each move reduces the countdown
- If a bomb reaches zero, the level is lost
You must clear bombs before their countdown expires while also completing level goals.
Level Tiers
After reaching level 20 in Sydney, levels unlock difficulty tiers.
Each level can be played in three tiers:
- Intern
- Architect
- Master Builder
Each tier increases difficulty and rewards.
To unlock the next city:
- You must complete the Intern tier of each required level
Higher tiers are optional but provide additional rewards.
Replaying Levels
Levels can be replayed after completion.
Important notes:
- Intern tier must be completed to progress
- Higher tiers can be replayed for extra rewards
- The final tier can be replayed unlimited times
- Replaying the final tier does not award gold coins
Difficulty Progression
As you advance:
- Levels introduce more blockers
- Goals become more complex
- Special level mechanics appear more frequently
Difficulty increases gradually as you unlock new cities.
