Events in Gummy Drop!
Events are special gameplay modes that run for a limited time and offer additional rewards.
Events appear as you progress through the game and usually require completing levels under specific conditions.
Daily Events
Daily Events are short-term activities that refresh regularly.
They allow you to:
- Earn extra rewards
- Progress faster without affecting main map progression
Daily events will unlock at level 23 in Sydney.
You’ll need to replay the indicated levels to earn letters and spell out the daily word.
Once you have the daily word spelled out, you’ll win a free boost!
Marathon Challenge
Marathon Challenge is a long-form event focused on consistent level completion.
To progress in the Marathon Challenge:
- Win levels consecutively
- Avoid losing levels, as losses may reset progress
Rewards improve the further you advance in the challenge.
The Marathon Challenge will automatically begin within the latest city you've unlocked with normal progression (not with travel vouchers).
The challenge covers the latest 10 levels you've unlocked. If you have played up to level 22 in Budapest, the event will cover levels 22-31 in Budapest.
To begin the event, open up the latest level you have unlocked in that city (it may be the level that appears before the black and white starting flag icon).
Note:
- If you are just about to build a monument in your current city, be sure to build this first, as this may keep the event levels from appearing correctly.
- If you are within the last 10 levels within your current city (110-120 in most cases), the Marathon will not appear until you've opened up the first 10 levels of the next city in the game.
Building Rush
Building Rush is an event centered around rapid progression and construction goals.
During this event:
- Completing levels contributes to building progress
- Reaching milestones unlocks rewards
Need help finding enough resources to finish a city? With Building Rush you can beat levels to collect resources!
The more levels you beat in a row, the higher your resource multiplier will be, and the more resources you can collect.
The Building Rush is only around for a limited time so make sure to jump in and play as soon as you can!
Why can't I see the Building Rush event?
To participate in Building Rush, make sure that your Passport is unlocked.
NOTE: Building Rush will not appear if you are in the last 20 levels of your farthest unlocked city.
Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt is an event where completing levels helps uncover rewards hidden on a map or board.
Each completed objective brings you closer to unlocking treasures.
Choose between two paths and clear all the levels in the path without losing a life to find your treasure! Make sure to play the event before time runs out.
The easy path has 4 levels.
The hard path has 6 levels.
The hard path has a bigger treasure than the easy one. You can complete both paths to win an even bigger treasure!
Note: only one path can be played at a time. You must either complete the chosen path or “return to the boat” and start over to play the other path.

- Unlocks rewards
- Contributes to certain events
